Accessibility & Inclusion at Mouw Law
At Mouw Law & The Raven Community Fund, accessibility is not an optional feature — it is a fundamental value.
We believe that every person should be able to access justice, information, and support regardless of ability, language, identity, or circumstance.
We are actively working to align our website, services, and communications with recognized accessibility standards (including WCAG 2.1 AA), and we welcome feedback as we continue to grow.

What We’re Currently Doing
• Offering multiple communication methods (email, forms, phone, virtual meetings).
• Providing in-person and virtual consultations with trauma-informed practices.
• Designing our website to support screen readers, keyboard navigation, and readable contrast.
• Expanding multilingual access through professional and machine translation tools.
• Making legal documents and information available in plain-language versions upon request.
• Continuously reviewing our digital and physical spaces for accessibility improvements.

What We Plan to Include as We Grow
This is our commitment to evolving accessibility in real time.
As Mouw Law & The Raven Community Fund expands, we intend to add:
• ASL-interpreted consultations (both in-person and virtual).
• Spanish-speaking and other multilingual staff, translators, and community partners.
• A more complete multilingual website, prioritizing Arabic, Spanish, Somali, ASL, and other languages widely spoken in Sioux Falls and the surrounding region.
• Captioned and transcripted videos, including legal explainers and community resources.
• On-site accessibility improvements such as sensory-friendly spaces and mobility-adaptive setups.
• Large-print, dyslexia-friendly, and plain-language forms for all major documents.
• Community listening sessions to hear directly from those most affected by access gaps.
• Partnerships with disability advocates, community leaders, and cultural organizations to continually update our practices.
These items reflect our values and our direction — not a fixed timeline — and we will be transparent as each one becomes available.
